Sargis Gabrielyan is a beneficiary of the Insruance Foundation for Servicemen (1000+)

Sargis is one of many commanders who risked their lives standing by their soldiers in the battlefield. He was commander of reconnaissance platoon. After completing the task they had to return to return to the installation location when they were ambushed by the opponent who threw a grenade next to Sargis. He put his hand on the grenade and it exploded. Sargis lost his hand right then and there.
